Pre-K - Grade 2 uses a modified rotation model. Curriculum for this age group is also written, compiled or modified in house. Students spend 2-3 weeks on each story or concept and learn in a self-contained classroom. Teachers are encouraged to work with the multiple intelligences theory, offering a variety of learning opportunities including science, drama, games, story-telling, music and art. Our fellowship hall, known as Ark Adventures, offers large group space, an ark area and an "under the rainbow" area.  Volunteers may use these spaces for storytelling, games or whatever each story lends itself to. Teachers may also choose to set up a rotation within their grade level or within the entire group with one teacher responsible for the story, another for the reinforcing craft activity, another for a game, etc.  On occasion, a rotation workshop, with a facilitator, (see explanation in G.A.P.P. section) is set up for all ages.
